I’m Benjamin, the chap behind Blok Knives
I’d like to start with a simple introduction, my name is Benjamin James Edmonds and I make kitchen knives by hand from my workshop in Derbyshire.
There’s something very raw about making a knife. It’s back to basics and for this reason I don’t like to over complicate my production. All of my focus goes into making kitchen knives.
My workshop is based at Darley Abbey Mills, a collection of historic buildings dating back to the late 1700’s.
I welcome visits and encourage people to come and have a play. I may even pop the kettle on!
EACH KNIFE IS LOVINGLY HANDMADE

If used regularly, Knives can take a bit of a beating. If you ever want your blade re-sharpening, just send it back, and for a small fee I’ll see it’s returned to its former glory. Essentially, If you have any questions or queries about your knife, give me a buzz. Love your knife and it will love you.
